about |
Two friends Cameron May and Kevin Foster created Cardboardboxrecords so that they would have a way to release their music. The label is therefore not-for-profit and does not function for any other reason that to support the artists. The name came from the idea to create packaging for the CDs out of recycled cardboard materials. While they have stayed fairly faithful to this original mandate, they have on occasion released the CDs of their friends.

demo policy |
Sadly we do not accept demos

box studio |
Cameron May also runs a small recording studio named "box". Almost all of the material recorded on the label is done by box studio.
